The buildings and the ground
A two-storey block at Thevarnada with an open ground and a flagstaff in front of it. The Principal's office is at the head of the ground-floor corridor; the staff room opens off the same veranda.
Library and laboratories
The library holds more than 1,500 textbooks and over 15 student magazines, and takes daily newspapers in English and Malayalam. Practical work is done in three rooms: a science laboratory, a separate technical library, and a shared computer and mathematics lab. Eight subjects are taught, each by its own named subject teacher, so the laboratories are in use across the week rather than kept for one class.
Getting here
Two school buses serve nineteen stops across Kadakkal and the surrounding villages. Bus I covers Panapamkunnu, Seemanthapuram, Vellarvattom, Kattadimoodu, Kottapuram and Kadakkal. Bus II covers Mankadu, Kummil, Kuttikadu, Chariparambu, Chithara, Thottam Mukku, Kanjirathumoodu, Manaluvattom, Vayyanam, Chunda, Edathara, Pulippara and Kodinjam.
