The Principal's office is at the head of the ground-floor corridor. It is where admissions are decided, where transfer certificates are issued, and where a parent who wants to raise something goes first.
What the office does
Twenty staff are on roll, fifteen of them teaching, and each of the eight subjects has its own named subject teacher. The Principal's office is where that is held together.
- Admissions Admission is on merit alone, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, subject to seats being available
- Transfer certificates Issued by the office; a specimen of the form is published
- Statutory disclosure The affiliation, safety and committee documents the Board requires the school to publish
The bodies the office answers to
The school is run by the Travancore Devaswom Board, an autonomous body constituted under Act XV of 1950. Two committees sit alongside it, and both membership lists are public.
